Friendly staff, beautiful spot on the second floor with patio space. The food was good but not great to me, except the cucumbers. Those were our favorite. I wish the glass noodles were cut before being served. They were stuck together. Soup dumplings were good in taste but I’ve had better. Pot stickers were a second fav of mine. It tasted house made. I’m open to trying more things on the menu.

We visited Dough Zone on Valentine’s Day, and as expected it was pretty busy. Surprisingly, there were only two servers working the floor, and they seemed to be doing everything from seating guests, cleaning tables, bringing food, and taking care of orders all at the same time. It honestly felt unusual for a restaurant to operate that way, and when we learned the menu and ordering had switched to QR codes, I initially worried the service would feel impersonal and rushed. Thankfully, we were taken care of by Jay, who absolutely made our night. Despite juggling multiple responsibilities and a packed dining room, he remained incredibly hospitable, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. He didn’t just point us to the menu,  he genuinely helped me, my wife, and my daughters choose dishes that fit our preferences and dietary needs, offering thoughtful suggestions and checking on us regularly. The food was excellent as well. The pan-fried pork buns were perfectly crisp on the outside and juicy inside, the pork and crab meat soup dumplings were flavorful and comforting, and the egg fried rice was delicious and satisfying. Considering the restaurant seemed to be understaffed for the night, everything came out in a timely manner even with the crowd. It’s rare to leave a busy holiday dinner feeling relaxed and taken care of, and this was one of those times that reminds you how much great service can shape the entire experience. With that being said I still think they need to have more employees on hand just to take some of the workload off the waitstaff and reduce wait time. Only downside was there were plenty of tables open but none of them had been cleaned yet so we had to wait, but it was only for about 5 minutes so our party size could be accommodated.

Today is Chinese New year , to celebrate I decided to grab Doughzone in uptown. Having tried numerous Soup dumpling places in the Houston Area, I find these to be the best 小笼包! They have a clean presentation and authentic flavor. I will be going back soon. Good Job

Fast and delicious food. Quite easy to order and several options to pick from. Can do better with the noodles and added spice. Soup dumplings were hot and delicious. Clean tables and chairs as well as the restrooms. Small plates and portions so you can order more variety and good for sharing.

I had an absolutely incredible experience at Dough Zone! From the moment I arrived, everything went smoothly. Parking was convenient in the garage, and the restaurant is located on Level 2 if I am remembering correctly. Once inside, the atmosphere was inviting and comfortable with both indoor and outdoor seating options depending on the vibe you are looking for. The food itself was outstanding, very unique and full of flavor. I highly recommend ordering a variety of dishes to share at the table so you can try a little bit of everything. It is very affordable, especially considering the quality, and the portions are perfect for sampling with friends or business partners. Their tea was also incredible, which really elevated the entire meal. Service was excellent as well, friendly and attentive, and it made the whole experience even better. I went on a Friday afternoon and was surprised it was not packed, given how amazing the food and experience were. Honestly, I expected it to be much busier, but it was great to be able to relax and enjoy everything without any rush. Overall, Dough Zone completely impressed me. I am already planning to come back soon, and I will definitely be bringing some of my business partners with me next time. It is truly a gem worth checking out.

Nice place!! Very clean. First off, I will say that prices are very reasonable, and it’s a great value! I recommend the soup dumplings, sweet and sour cucumbers, and wonton dumplings in chili sauce. The cucumbers are prepped so nicely and afe crunchy, refreshing, and satisfying, and the soup dumpling is yummy. I really liked the wonton dumplings too. The potstickers are decent. The beef stew is also good, but I do NOT recommend the Dan Dan noodle or the Banana Naan. The Dan Dan noodles, I can’t describe but it has an odd flavor that most people might not be accustomed to. I would lean towards the beef stew, that is more flavorful and easier enjoyable. Regarding the banana naan, there were so LITTLE banana inside, and the naan is not even naan. It’s mediocre and is overpriced; I feel like you can probably just make it even better at home. But, just choose the right dishes and it will be delicious! Four stars overall.

Service 10 out of 5. Where do they find these employees from? We came in at 9 and kitchen closed at 9:30pm I think. We were welcomed in. Everyone was smiling. Manager, chef, dish washer, everyone. They taken care of us until we leave. Food is great. Good portion, fresh, well-seasoned, very appealing. Everything taste like what they supposed to be. Price is very reasonable. We ordered 8 items and a boba tea. Total was $72.30 with tax Since the location is on the second floor, you can have a street view through the large, fixed panel windows while you enjoy your food.

Stopped by for a late lunch. I was seated quickly and with politeness. I ordered from the restaurant weeks dinner menu, a great deal because in my opinion the six courses could serve two people with very little supplement(maybe just a second drink.) Staff were super helpful in showing me how to order and gave great suggestions. Food came out quickly and was very fresh. Each dish was delicious, and the multiple courses gave me the opportunity to try lots of items. I would definitely go back. I would love to see the atmosphere when it is prime dining time.
